Power of Words: Words shapes your thoughts

It is an important concept that words frames your mind and you envision the world.

They affect your thinking process and the perception what could be neutral events. For example:

“bad weather” Rain which is a neutral event is assimilated as something bad

“I must take care of my baby” when mentioned this way frame the role as a burden.

Words you use have a decisive power on your life. Being wise in your words is instrumental as it is often part our awareness and by extend they are a tool. Prohibiting for instance, “I don’t have time” by “I don’t take the time” alters the perception of the control you have over your life. That simple change of words had a tremendous impact on my own life.
